Meet the Founder
Molly Myers Belton
Pastry Chef
Hi! I’m Molly Myers Belton. I am the owner of Simply Sweet Desserts. Growing up I remember baking in my grandmother’s kitchen in Knoxville, Tennessee. She would let me wear her mother’s red floral apron from the 1940’s, and I would climb up on my stool to see over the counter. My love for baking came from spending time learning to make apple pies and homemade whipped cream with her.
After attending Arizona State University for dance, I moved back to Tennessee. I kept returning to my love of cooking and baking and the creativity that I could do in the kitchen. This led me to pursue my degree in baking and pastry. I earned my Culinary degree with Honors in Baking and Pastry at The Art Institute of Tennessee. I was honored to be able to work and train under some of the best cake bakers in Nashville, Tennessee. This has been a dream come true to be able to create desserts for my clients. I am excited for this new adventure in Atlanta, Georgia. Thank you for allowing me to do what I love!
