Servings: 6 waffles
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour
1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
1/4 cup Freeze Dried Strawberry Powder
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Salt
2 cups Whole Milk
2 large Eggs
1/4 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 drops of Red Food Coloring, optional
Instructions:
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, freeze dried strawberry powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, mix together milk, eggs, unsalted butter (melted), and vanilla extract. Combine your wet ingredients into your dry mix. The batter should be thick but able to pour (If the batter is too thick add 1 tablespoon of milk at a time until pourable consistency is reached).
If desired add your red food coloring and mix to combine.
Preheat your waffle maker, then cook waffles according to your waffle makers instructions. (Most standard size waffle makers will be about 3/4 cup of batter). Repeat with remainder of batter.
Top with whipped cream, fresh strawberries, and your favorite syrup!
